I created a conceptual short-form video using AI video generation to visually explore the cultural and design significance of Helvetica. The piece aimed to translate typographic influence into cinematic form turning a font known for neutrality and clarity into a compelling visual narrative. Using AI-generated environments and motion sequences, I illustrated how Helvetica has shaped modern visual communication across branding, advertising, public signage, and digital interfaces. Clean compositions, grid-based layouts, and minimalist transitions mirrored the typeface’s core principles: balance, precision, and functional beauty. The editing approach emphasized restraint and intentional pacing, allowing typography and negative space to carry the visual weight. Subtle motion design and layered text animations reinforced the idea that Helvetica’s power lies in its simplicity and universality. The final video was crafted for social distribution, designed to resonate with designers, creatives, and brand strategists while demonstrating how AI can be used to interpret and visualize abstract design concepts.
